Toasties are rarely eaten at the table. They go along to the office, to the building site, to the car. So the bag travels too — and gets seen along the way by people who might not know your business yet. That makes a printed bag cheap advertising. You're paying for the packaging anyway; now it just has your name on it.

Een tosti is groter dan een koek en warmer bovendien. Daarom werken we hier met ruimere maten. 14×14 cm past om een standaard tosti van gesneden brood. Strak, weinig overtollige lucht. 15×15 cm geeft speling. Prettig bij een dikker belegde tosti, of als je 'm schuin doorsnijdt en de punten uitsteken. 16×16 cm is voor de grotere varianten: tosti's van casinobrood, dubbel belegd, of twee halve naast elkaar. Weet je het niet zeker? Meet je huidige verpakking, of leg een tosti op een liniaal. Een centimeter te ruim is nooit een probleem; een centimeter te krap wel. Andere maten leveren we op aanvraag.

Jij keurt die goed, en pas dan gaat het naar de pers. Zo zie je vooraf of je logo goed staat en of de tekst leesbaar blijft op het formaat dat je hebt gekozen. Heb je geen ontwerpbestand? Stuur wat je hebt, dan maken we er iets van dat past.

We drukken in eigen huis. Dat scheelt een schakel: geen tussenpartij die zijn eigen levertijd erbovenop doet, en geen wachten tot een leverancier ergens tijd heeft. Daardoor gaat het snel. Vanaf 3 productiedagen ligt je bestelling klaar, gerekend vanaf het moment dat je de drukproef goedkeurt. En we drukken vanaf kleine aantallen. Je hoeft dus niet met duizenden te beginnen om een fatsoenlijke prijs te krijgen. Wil je eerst kijken hoe het bevalt, bestel dan een kleine oplage en schaal later op — de staffel zie je direct bij het bestellen, dus je kunt zelf zien waar het omslagpunt ligt.

Warm packaging: what it asks of the paper
Een tosti is het lastigste product van onze snackpapieren, en dat komt door de combinatie: hij is heet, hij geeft stoom af en de gesmolten kaas geeft vet af. Alle drie tegelijk. Stoom is daarbij de stille boosdoener: in een zakje dat niet ademt, slaat het vocht neer op het brood en is je krokante tosti binnen twee minuten slap. Vetvrij papier houdt het vet tegen zonder de stoom volledig op te sluiten, en dat is precies waarom je hier geen gecoat of plastic zakje wilt.

How to design for a bag that gets warm and greasy
De omstandigheden zijn hier ruwer dan bij een koud product:
- Reken op vlekken. Er komt vet op het papier; een ontwerp met een lichte, egale achtergrond laat dat sterker zien dan een ontwerp met kleur of patroon.
- Vermijd haarfijne lijnen. Het zakje wordt warm vastgepakt en samengeknepen.
- Zet je naam hoog. De onderste centimeters zitten in de hand van je gast.
- Eén kleur kan prima. Op een zakje dat tien minuten meegaat, werkt een strak logo in zwart net zo goed als full colour — en het scheelt in de prijs.

How quickly will I have my order?
Vanaf 3 productiedagen nadat je de drukproef hebt goedgekeurd. We drukken in eigen huis, dus er zit geen tussenpartij tussen die er nog eens een week bij optelt. Heb je haast? Laat het weten, dan kijken we wat er mogelijk is.
Do you print in-house or outsource it?
We print in-house, in our own production facility. That's why we can deliver quickly and why we can also handle small runs — we don't have to wait for a supplier to find room in their schedule.
What size toastie bag do I need?
For a standard toastie made with sliced bread, 14×14 cm is enough. Choose 15×15 cm for thicker fillings or if you cut the toastie in half, and 16×16 cm for larger versions such as casino bread or double-filled toasties. If in doubt, measure your current packaging.
Can I order a different size?
Yes, we supply other sizes on request. Let us know what you need, and we'll look into what's possible.
Can the bag handle a hot toastie?
Yes. We print on grease-proof paper, made for hot and greasy products. The grease won't soak through and your print stays legible — even if the toastie sits in it for a while.
What's the minimum order quantity?
We print from small quantities upwards. With larger quantities the unit price drops; you'll see the quantity tiers straight away when ordering, so you can see for yourself where the price break kicks in.
Can I see in advance what it will look like?
Yes, you'll get a free digital proof showing your design on the bag. This also shows the margins where nothing should be placed. Printing only starts once you've given your approval.
Can I order toastie bags and burger bags together?
Certainly, and it's often handy: both come in 14×14 to 16×16 cm, so you can use the same design. One order, one proof, one consistent look for your business.
Won't the toastie go soggy in the bag?
Less so than in a coated or plastic bag. Grease-proof paper keeps the grease out but doesn't fully trap the steam, allowing moisture to escape. If you want to keep a toastie really crispy, hand it to your guest just before they leave.
Can I order toastie bags and burger bags in the same design?
Yes. We use the same file and the same colours, just in a different size. If you order them together, you only need to supply your logo once and you only pay for file checking once.
